Uncomplicate Life in June

Monday, June 06, 2016

This time last year I was in the midst of reading The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. At the time I thought it would be so good to sit down and really think about what I want from each month and then set goals around that, but it's a year later and my goals are all over the place. I'm starting to realize that I need to do more to hold myself accountable, hence this post.

June Goals
One thing I do that stresses everyone, including myself, out is over-complicate everything. I want to spend June learning how to make my life easier, make my job easier, make blogging easier. I want to find shortcuts for all those things in life that I don't enjoy. *cleaning* I want more time for those things in life that I really care about.

June Goals

  • Move to Wordpress by the end of June.

  • Move more! Take a walk 3 times a week for at least 40 minutes.

  • Come up with a realistic inspiration board for Master Bathroom and calculate approximate cost.
  • Finish painting garage door.
  • Clean everyday but Sunday for 30 minutes.

  • Be a better neighbor. Get outside at least 3 times a week and try to be friendly.
  • Ignore electronics every weekday from 6-8 so that I am more present.
  • Make vacations a priority when it comes to saving.

  • On a weekly basis find a scripture or quote to meditate on and find ways to incorporate the meaning I find into my everyday life.

  • Read only books I own for the whole month of June.

  • Come up with my ideal career timeline.
If you have shared your goals for the month, I would love to read them!
Do you find that sharing goals keeps you accountable?
